    4 Operating instructions 4.1 Manual recording (DSC): 1. Bring the “VOX” switch into the “DSC” position and turn the power on. The green LED will light on steady. If no memory card is inserted, the blue LED will start to flash quickly.

    4.2 Voice-activated recording (DC) 1. Bring the “VOX” switch to the DC position then power the device on. The green LED will light up which means that the device entered the standby mode. 2. Now the camera will start to record as soon as it detects a sound of 65 decibel or louder.

    4.6 Using the MDV 110 as a Webcam If you want to use the MDV 110 as a Webcam first of all you have to install the drivers. You will find them on the driver CD. Then bring the “VOX” switch into “DC” position and connect it to your PC.
