    Installing Your Window Kit and Exhaust Hose PREPARATIONS FOR INSTALLING THE WINDOW KIT You must vent your portable air condi oner when running in it cooling mode. Your unit includes a window exhaust kit that can be used to vent the unit out of a window. Before you begin, make sure you have all the parts necessary for installa on and a loca on is picked.

The unit will remember the last used mode/se ngs if you shut down and restart. Auto-Restart: If power to the unit is interrupted, the air condi oner will restart itself in its last used mode/ se ngs once power is restored.
