Cylinder Head Cover

a stiff bristled
brush or compressed
air.

Do not
operate the tractor

Muffler
(Fig.
29) or
tamper
with
the
exhaust system.

CYLINDERS OR
FINS AS CONTACT
MAY CAUSE
BURNS.
Periodically
clean
the muffler
area
to prevent grass, dirt
and combustible material from accumulating.
Damaged
Mufflers
or spark
arresters
could create
a fire hazard. In·
spect
periodically
and replace if
necessary. If
your engine
is equipped with a spark arrester screen assembly,
remove
every 50 hours for cleaning and
inspection.
