The router provides a fast and effective means of communicating over a LAN via wired or wireless. Multiple wan connection types are provided for easy access to internet. The APR-2000 wireless router is an 802.11g high-performance wireless device that is also compatible with 802.11b devices.

The APR-2000 has a built-in DHCP server. The DHCP server will automatically assign an IP address to the computers on the LAN.

The Beacon Interval value indicates the Beacon Interval frequency interval of the beacon. A beacon is a packet broadcast by the AP to synchronize the wireless network. 50 is recommended in poor reception.

The AP sends Request to Send (RTS) frames to a particular receiving station and negotiates the sending of a data frame.
