To use your personal online health management account and your USB
storage device, rst read the Getting Started guide. Make sure your personal
data is "synched" with your LifeSpan Fitness Club account.
• The scale should be used on a hard surface, not carpet.
Insert your USB drive into the port on the front of the scale. Press the Set key.
The USB symbol will ash a few times to show that it is transferring your
personal data to the scale.
Your user data will be displayed one at a time, each one for about two
seconds. When your age, previous weight, and height have been displayed,
the display will be ready to take your weight and body fat readings. Wait for
the weight display to read a stable 0.0 before stepping on the scale.
• If any of your personal information is missing or obviously in error (such as
zero), zeros will be displayed along with the measurement label.
• You must have bare feet for the body fat measurement. You must also be
using a USB drive with personal information synched, since the body fat
measurement requires your height and age.

After about ten seconds, your body fat percentage is displayed.
• If the scale cannot acquire a body fat measurement (such as if your feet
are not bare), the display will blink 00 and % bf.
These readings are recorded to the USB drive, with the ashing USB symbol
showing this is happening. Your body weight and body fat percentage will
also be displayed a second time.
The display now shuts o .
• If there is no USB drive, the USB icon and % bf icon will blink on and off.
