ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION IN EXISTING CONSTRUCTION
11. Select the location for the fan in the ceiling.
In attic, place mounting tabs against joist. Trace outline of housing on
ceiling board. Remove housing and cut ceiling opening slightly larger
than marked.
Put housing in opening with bottom edge flush with ceiling board.
12. Connect circular duct to connector with duct tape (not included) or
clamps (not included) and extend duct to outside.
Check damper to see that it opens freely.
13. Nail or screw housing to joist or framing through keyhole on both
sides. For a quieter mount, nail or screw through the additional hole
of each mounting tab.
To connect wiring and attach grille and light follow steps 7 through
10.
Finish ceiling work.
