Disable/Enable the Wireless LAN MultiPort
W200
If you are using the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 on a
battery-powered computer, you may wish to:
Disable the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 to safe battery
power, for example when you are working out of range of a
wireless network.
Enable the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 to (re-)establish a
wireless connection.
CAUTION: When you disable the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 you will
lose your connection to the network. Before you disable the module,
make sure you have closed all files and network applications (such as
E-mail).
To disable the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200, press the two
keyboard keys Fn and F2 simultaneously.
The LED on the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 will go out.
To enable the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200, press the two
keyboard keys Fn and F2 again.
The LED on the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 will turn
green.
