    How the System Works The Collarless Remote Trainer is designed to assist you with obedience training and the behavior modifi cation of your dog or cat by taking advantage of the sensitive hearing of your pet in the ultrasonic frequency range which is inaudible to most humans.

    It is recommended that the battery be replaced on an annual basis to help maintain optimal operation. The Collarless Remote Trainer is powered by one 9-volt alkaline battery. Do not use a carbon-zinc or rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery because they will not provide enough current, resulting in a decreased range.
