D.If the set point temperature, the high temperature alarm, and the low temperature alarm are
set at the same time, make sure to leave the indicator to "Low Temperature Alarm" position
after all adjustments are performed. Leave the panel untouched for 10 seconds. The unit
enters the locked mode.
E.Simultaneously push "Function Selection" key and down arrow key for 5 seconds. The
temperature display shows the time delay to be "01" for 1 minute for the high stage compressor
to start after power up. This delay can be changed by pushing the up or down arrow keys to
change the value from 1 minute to 10 minutes.
3.2Battery
Your freezer is equipped with a rechargeable battery controlled by a power switch. Before
operating the freezer, this switch must be turned on. Once the unit is plugged into the specified
voltage, the unit operates to charge the battery. When there is a power outage, the battery
sustains the temperature display.
temperature display turns off. While the battery is still capable of providing power to the display,
the temperature display can be turned off by unplugging the power cord and turning off the
battery control switch.
To reduce the risk of equipment failure that might result in loss of property, please follow the
application guidelines.
1.The unit should not be located in a small space. Should a failure occur, a small space hinders
any on-site repair work, and prevents quick removal of stored products.
2.The freezer should be taken care of by a dedicated person. The freezer should be inspected
daily, and its temperature should be recorded every 2 to 4 hours each day. When there is a power
outage or a failure, the freezer temperature starts to warm up. If the situation cannot be corrected
within a short period of time, move the stored products to another unit with proper temperature to
minimize property damage.
3.Before any product is loaded into the unit, check the storage temperature specification. It needs
to match this freezer's set temperature. If there is a discrency between the requirement and the
actual temperature, potential property damage can be resulted.
Due to the nature of mechanical refrigeration, it is normal that there is a temperature difference
between the actual unit temperature and the set temperature .
If the battery voltage is less than a threshold, the

Leave the unit standing in its intended location for at least 24 hours before switching the
power on. Turn on the switch for charging the backup battery. This switch is located on
the back of the machine as can be seen in Picture 4. Viewed from the back of the unit, the
switch is installed on the electrical box. If this switch is not turned on, the low charge
battery alarm would be on.

temperature. Let the unit run for 8 hours. Then load the unit with batch method. Each
load should not exceed one third of the freezer's capacity. Between each loading, let the
unit operate at set point temperature for 24 hours. To avoid warming up of the products,
do not open the unit's door during the cool-down process.

windows and doors to reduce the environmental temperature. If the ambient temperature
rises above 32
, the control logic of the unit would activate the auto-protection program
which limits the temperature set point to maximum point of -82

33 , do not operate the unit as the compressors may be subject to burn out.
This unit is designed for storage of laboratory materials. It is not suitable for high
refrigeration demands such as in a production line.
Always make sure that appropriate materials are stored. Do not load warm products into
the unit. The extended operational time may damage the compressors. Materials should
be loaded into the unit using batch loading method until the desired temperature is
reached.
The unit should be operated based on the above recommendation for longevity.
