Maintenance and Technical Specifications

Your passcode must be four digits long, and should be something that you will
remember. Try to avoid obvious combinations (such as 1234 or similar).
If you've already mounted the alarm unit, remove it from its mounting
bracket.
Open the battery compartment on the rear of the alarm.
Locate the button labeled LEARN.
Press this button.
Then, enter your four digit passcode. When entering the passcode, press
buttons slowly and deliberately, waiting for the alarm unit to beep quickly to
confirm each button press.
A louder, longer beep will confirm that a new passcode has been set.
When the batteries in the alarm unit are running out, the LED on the front of the
alarm unit will flash slowly (more slowly than during the arming delay). If the LED
starts flashing in this way, change the batteries immediately.
The batteries in the alarm system should be replaced every six months. If you're
using the sensor in chime mode and get a lot of visitors, you may need to change
them more often.
Remove the sensor from its mounting bracket.
On the rear side of the sensor, locate the battery compartment.
