SWING HITCH MODEL ASSEMBLY

1. Fasten shield to the front of the center gearbox using four M10 x 20mm bolts and lockwashers.
2. Slide clutch end of driveline onto center gearbox. Install the tapered pin and tighten the hex nut to 30 ft/lbs.
Pull on driveline to make certain it is securely attached.
3. Attach the metal cross shaft shield brackets to the outboard and center gearbox with M10 x 20mm bolts
and flatwashers. Attach shields to the brackets with 7/16 x 1" bolts and locknuts on each side. Latch the
shield in place with a lynch pin.
4. Attach the left swing arm weldment with the cylinder lug positioned toward the left side. Install the pivot
collar and fasten with 5/8" x 5" bolts, lockwashers and nuts. Install the opposite side similarly.
5. Attach the A-Frame weldment to the swing arm weldments with 1" x 8-1/2" bolts, bushing, lockwasher and
nut.
6. Attach the double acting hydraulic cylinder or ratchet crank as shown.
7. (If using the standard axle) Refer to #7 under "Lift Model Assembly".
8. (If using the heavy duty axle) Install the 1" x 10" bolt, flatwasher and strongback bushing through the axle
lugs and strongback. Install the 1-1/2" x 1/2" bushing to inside of strongback and fasten using a flatwasher,
lockwasher and nut. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side.
9. Refer to #9 through12, Notes A through C, under "Lift Model Assembly".
10. (If using the standard axle) Refer to #7 under "Lift Model Assembly".
