Troubleshooting

Symptom
No power
The power is on, but
the unit does not work.
The unit does not start
playback.
Poor picture quality
and sound distortion
No sound
No picture or sound on
TV or amplifier.
Cause
The AC adapter or automotive
adapter is not connected.
The battery is discharged.
No disc is inserted.
An unplayable disc is inserted.
The rating level is set.
Fingerprints and dust are
stained on the disc.
The volume is set to minimum.
The earphone jack is connected
to the unit.
The TV is not set to receive the
signal from the unit.
The video/audio cable is not
connected securely.
The equipment connected with
the audio cable is not set to
receive the signal from the unit.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Connect the unit to the power supply with
the AC adapter or automative adapter.
Recharge the battery.
Insert a disc.
Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc type
and regional code.)
Change the rating level.
Wipe the disc from the center to out with
a clean cloth. Do not use strong solvents.
(alcohol, benzine, thinner, commercially
available cleaners)
Use the volume controller to adjust the
volume.
Separate the earphone jack from the unit.
Select the appropriate video input mode on
the TV.
Connect the video/audio cable securely.
Select the correct input mode of the audio
amplifier.
