2. Activate Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to share your phone's mobile
network data connection as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot with
displaying in the status bar.
3. Deactivate Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to finish sharing data connection
via Wi-Fi.
Tethering & Portable Hotspot Settings
You can touch Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings to turn the hotspot on
and off and to set SSID (the name of phone's Wi-Fi network broadcasted)
and secure the Wi-Fi network.
1. Touch the Home Key >
Tethering & portable hotspot.
2. Activate Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
3. Touch Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
In the hotspot dialog, you can change the SSID (network name) that
other computers see when scanning for Wi-Fi networks.
You can also touch the Security menu to configure the network with
Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) security, with a preshared key
