The SCAN Menu

Push the SCAN-key to enter the station select menu.
SCAN AUTO
If you push the key again, the respective menu items change.
SCAN AUTO

SET NAME
SET TV STD.
SCAN AUTO FM
If the Tuner is in the auto scan mode, in this case for FM reception, the direction of
search is indicated by arrows.

As soon as a station is found, the auto scan stops and reception of the station is fine
tuned, using the AFC - function.

Press the UP or DOWN key again, to restart the auto scan from the current position
into the chosen direction. If you like to fine tune manually, use the TUNE key in order
to switch to FM TUNE. You can then fine tune the respective station manually.
SCAN MAN FM
Use the FM TUNE menu to fine tune a certain frequency. Here you can search the
frequency band in 50 kHz steps using the UP/DOWN keys.

By using the UP- / DOWN–Buttons in radio mode, the Tuner
automatically scans the complete frequency band unto the
next detected channel.
By using the UP- / DOWN–Buttons, the frequency band can
be scanned for channels manually, in steps of 50 kHz.
By using the UP- / DOWN–Buttons in TV mode, the Tuner
scans the complete frequency band unto the next detected
channel.
By using the UP- / DOWN–Buttons, the frequency band can
be scanned for channels manually, in steps of 62.5 kHz.
An alphanumeric name, consisting of 8 digits, can be
assigned to a channel. If a channel's name is being received
via RDS, it will automatically be adopted.
