To view a text or multimedia message:
In Idle mode, select Messaging.

• Your messages are grouped into message threads by contact.
Select a contact.

Select a text or multimedia message from the message thread.

Sent messages are displayed in blue icons and received
messages are displayed in yellow icons.
In the message view, use the following options:
→ Forward: Forward a message.

→ Lock message: Protect the message from being deleted.
•
→ Delete messages: Delete the message.
•
→ Copy message text: Copy the message.
•
→ Copy to SIM or Copy to phone: Copy the message to the
•
SIM card or phone.
→ View message details: View message details.
•
→ Insert smiley.
Listen to voicemail messages
If you have set missed calls to be diverted to the voicemail server,
callers can leave voice messages when you do not answer
incoming calls.
Note:
You must set up your voicemail before callers can leave messages.
To access your voicemail inbox and listen to voice mail messages:
In Idle mode, select Phone → Keypad, and then tap and hold 1.

The phone dials the phone number for the voicemail server.

Follow the instructions in the voicemail server.

Tip:
You must save the voicemail server number provided by your service
provider before accessing the server.

Google Mail

You can retrieve new email messages from Google Mail™ to your
Inbox. When you access this application, the Inbox screen
appears. The total number of unread messages displays in the title
bar and unread messages display in bold. If you have labelled a
message, its label appears in a colored rectangle on the message.

This feature may be unavailable depending on your region.
