Setting up Your Easy Recall Connecting Your Easy Recall Answering Machine 1. First, for your safety, always disconnect the telephone line when installing or changing the battery. 2. Optional - install a 9-volt battery [not included] for back up. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit.

Using Your EASY RECALL How to Playback Voice Messages The number flashing in the display window [i.e., alternating between “- -”, “03”] will show the num- ber of voice messages you’ve received. The number flashing after “t i” will indicate how many TTY messages you’ve received.
