Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card provided by your local network service provider and to install the battery.

Tap the Input Selector arrow (that appears next to the Input Panel icon) to open a menu where you can select a text input method and customize input options.

ActiveSync can also synchronize over a wireless or cellular network with Microsoft Exchange Server, if your company or service provider is running Microsoft Exchange Server with Exchange ActiveSync.

Specifically, you can configure your phone to establish a connection via Dial-up, GPRS, Bluetooth, Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Proxy.
