BATTERY BACKUP SYSTEM The Battery Backup System ensures the clock and alarm settings to be retained during a power interruption or power outage (in order to preserve the battery life the Display will not light). All clock settings will be kept in memory, however, the clock time may require adjustment for exact accuracy once the power resumes.

SETTING THE CLOCK When you connect the radio to an AC outlet for the first time the clock display will begin flashing "12:00". The flashing will stop when you set the time. Press and hold the TIME button and repeatedly press the HOUR button to set the correct Hour.

ALARM OPERATION SETTING THE WAKE UP TIME Press and hold the ALARM BUTTON and repeatedly press the HOUR BUTTON to set the correct wake up Hour. Press and hold the ALARM BUTTON and repeatedly press the MINUTE BUTTON to set the correct wake up Minute.

To set at the maximum sleep time of 1:59, press the Sleep Button. The display will show “0:59” sleep time and the radio will begin to play. While holding the SLEEP button, press the HOUR button. The display will show “1:59” sleep time. After 1 hour 59 minutes, the radio will shut off automatically.
