The power switch doesn´t separate this device
completely from mains. Moreover the device
consumes power in the standby operation. In order to
separate the device completely from mains, the mains
plug has to be pulled from the mains socket. Because
of that the device should be set up in a way, that an
unobstructed access to mains socket is guaranteed,
so that in case of emergency the mains plug can be
pulled immediately. To exclude the danger of  re, the
power cord should principally be separated from the
mains socket prior to a longer period of non-usage,
i.e. during vacations.
Electrical device not in the hands of children
WARNING: Never let children use electrical
device unsupervised.Children can´t always recognize
properly the possible dangers. Batteries / accumulators
can be life threatening when swallowed. Store
batteries unreachable for small children. In case of
swallowing a battery medical aid has to be sought
immediately. Also keep the packaging foils away from
children. There is danger of suffocation.
Batteries
CAUTION: Insert the batteries / rechargeable
batteries in the correct polarity. Don´t try to recharge non
rechargeable batteries and under no circumstances
throw them into  re. Danger of explosion. Do not use
unequal batteries (old and new, Alkaline and carbon,
etc.) simultaneously. If you will not use the device for
a long time, remove the batteries and store the device
in a dry and dust free place. Improper use of batteries
may cause an explosion or leakage. If the batteries
have leaked, use gloves and clean the appliance
thoroughly with a dry cloth!
Connection to a Television Distribution System
(Cable TV etc.) from Tuner
Device connected to the protective earthing of the
building installation through the mains connection or
through other apparatus with a connection to protective
earthing-and to a television distribution system using
coaxial cable, may in some circumstances create a
 re hazard.
Connection to a cable distribution system has
therefore to be provided through a device providing
electrical isolation below a certain frequency range
(galvanic isolator, see EN 60728-11).

This television is designed to consume less energy
to save the environment.
You not only help to save the environment but also
you can save money by reducing electricity bills
thanks to the energy ef ciency feauture of this TV.
To reduce energy consumption, you should take the
following steps:
You can use Power Save Mode setting, located in
the Menu Settings - Other Settings. If you set Power
Save Mode as On, the TV will switch to energy-
saving mode and luminance level of TV set will be
decreased to optimum level. Note that some picture
settings will be unavailable to be changed when the
TV is in Power Save Mode.
When the TV is not in use, please switch off or
disconnect the TV from the mains. This will also
reduce energy consumption.
When going away for a longer time, disconnect the
TV from the mains.
It is highly recommended to activate Power
Save Mode setting to reduce your annual power
consumption. And also it is recommended to
disconnect the TV from the mains to save energy
more when you do not use.
