Pidion BM170 Configuration
This document includes configuration information related to features
available with the purchase of the Pidion BM170 handheld and its expansion
modules. This will also reference the BM170 User Manual.
Two Model Variations:
Bluetooth/Wifi Only (Windows Mobile 6.5 Classic)
BlueTooth, WiFi, GPS, GPRS, Camera (Windows Mobile 6.5
Pro)

  • Page 3 Follow the steps below to successfully configure your Pidion BM170 handheld for GPRS transfer. 1. Following the Pidion User Manual (Page 9), insert your SIM Card into the back of the device. Then RESET the device (Page 16). 2. Once the handheld boots back up, it should recognize a SIM card was inserted and ask if you would like to let the handheld choose the connection for the SIM card.
  • Page 4 Manual Configuration (Non Cingular/AT&T) Follow the steps below to manually configure your Pidion BM170 handheld for GPRS transfer. 1. On the handheld, Click the Start button (Windows Logo) in the lower left of screen. Navigate to Settings > Connections and tap on Connections.
