You can select CINEMA MODE only when the input signal is a TV60, TV50, 480i, or 576i video signal.
When SCART INPUT is set to ON, nothing is output to the external monitor. No computer signals are projected, either.
Use a SCART-Mini D-SUB 15-pin cable (optional) when you connect the projector with an AV device equipped with the SCART terminal. Note
that you cannot use some AV devices equipped with the SCART terminal to connect with this projector.
Setting
Automatically sets the aspect ratio in relative to the input signal. Use
this setting for most cases.
Selects a desired screen position for anamorphically squeezed or hor-
izontally compressed images stored on DVD disks. You can select
from CENTER, UPPER, and LOWER by pressing the ENTER button.
Select this setting when you want to project images in the full screen.
Use this setting to activate or deactivate the password lock.
Use this setting to change the position of the menu on the screen.
Select Auto to automatically activate the film mode when the input
video signal is a video signal from a film.
Select Auto to automatically set the appropriate video format in rela-
tive to the input signal. If projected images aren't displayed correctly,
select a desired video format manually.
Select the appropriate format when the input signal is a WXGA video
signal.
Select this setting to automatically change the SETUP mode.
Select this setting to increase the density of black. Use this setting
when images are dark.
Select this setting to lower the density of black.
When 7.5% is set, the brightness is decreased by the setup can-
cel function for the U.S.
Select ON when you connect the projector to a device equipped with a
SCART terminal that can output RGB signals. The SCART terminal is
used mainly in Europe. Select OFF for most cases.
This mode can be set only when the input signal is from the COM-
PUTER/COMPONENT VIDEO IN-1 terminal.
Selects a desired language for the menu.
Resets all menu settings except for IMAGE CAPTURE, PASSWORD
FUNCTION, and LANGUAGE to the default.
