Alerts
Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you change service areas,
once a minute during a voice call, when a call has been connected, and when
turning your phone on and off. The different options available are:
Minute Beep: An alert tone is sounded every minute that you are
connected.
Service: An alert tone is sounded when you come in or out of your coverage
area.
Connect: An alert tone is sounded when you are initially connected.
Sig. Fade Tone: An alert tone is sounded when your phone partially loses
signal due to network conditions or leaving network coverage area.
Roam: An alert tone is sounded when your phone enters a roaming area.
To enable or disable alert sounds:
Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press

Key Tone
You can select the audible tones accompanying a key press. There are three
different tones available:
DTMF: Normal, touch-tone beeps are heard when a button is pressed.
Xylophone: Polyphonic 'xylophone' tones are heard when a key is pressed.
Voice: The number or symbol of the key is heard when you press a key.
To select a key tone:

Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press
