Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1.
Non-california type:
Place a suitable gasoline container below the carburetor, and use
a funnel to avoid spilling fuel.
California type:
Place a suitable gasoline container below the carburetor drain hose.
2.
Non-california type:
Remove the drain bolt and sealing washer and drain the gasoline
from the carburetor.
California type:
Loosen the carburetor drain screw and drain the gasoline from the
carburetor.
NON-CALIFORNIA TYPE
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive.
You can be burned or seriously
injured when handling fuel.
Stop the engine and keep heat,
sparks, and flame away.
Handle fuel only outdoors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
