Using Text Messaging

With text messaging, you can send instant text
messages from your phone to other people's
messaging-ready wireless phones -- and they can
send messages to you. When you receive a new
message, you will be notified (according to your
notification settings).
In addition, text messaging includes a variety of
preset messages, such as "I'm running late, I'm on
my way,"that make composing messages fast
and easy. You can also create and customize your
preset messages (up to 100 characters) on your
phone.
Composing Text Messages

> Messaging > Send Message and

select a recipient:
Go to Contacts to select a recipient from
your Contacts (Contacts entries must
contain a wireless phone number or an
email address).
NEW ADDR (right soft key) to use the
keypad to enter the wireless phone
number or email address of the person
to whom you wish to send a message.

Enter the text you wish to send.

Press SEND (left soft key) to send the
message.
