Equipment phase alignment with a digital installation
• «ΦH FINE»: Digital signal phase adjustment in steps of 37 ns.
«SC phase» and «Front porch» alignment of the composite output signal
If the composite video output is used as a monitoring output, it is recommended to set the
link J92 on the «GENLOCK/VIDEO» board to «OFF». In this case, the output composite
signal carrier is internally slaved with respect to the sync signals.
If necessary, the «SC phase« and «Front porch» alignment can be adjusted using the
«SC/H» and «FRONT PORCH» thumbwheels.

2.5.2 - Equipment without external reference (free mode)

Set the link J92 on the «GENLOCK/VIDEO» board to «OFF»
Horizontal phase alignment of the digital output signal
The «ΦH COARSE» and «ΦH FINE» thumbwheels are inactive.
«SC phase» and «Front porch» alignment of the composite output signal
If the composite video output is used as a monitoring output, and if necessary, the «SC
phase« and «Front porch» alignment can be adjusted using the «SC/H» and «FRONT
PORCH» thumbwheels. The output composite signal carrier is internally slaved with
respect to the sync signals.
