Step 1: Unpack all components from the shipping box. Please be aware that the Geneva Sound System model L and XL are heavy, so it is better to have two people lift it out of the box. Please save the original packaging material in case you ever need to return the System since the Limited Warranty does not cover shipping damages.

Step 2: Insert the batteries into the remote control (see page 15). There are batteries included in the package. Step 3: Place the Geneva Sound System on one of its short sides. Ensure that the System is placed on a soft material (carpet or textile) that does not scratch the surface. Insert the AC power cable into the AC connector on the Bottom Panel (see picture below) and then con- nect it to an AC outlet.
Step 5: If you intend to use the System with an iPod, open the lid on top of the cabinet. To open, please press carefully on the rear part of the lid. Open Attach Select the right iPod Dock Adapters that fits with the iPod model you intend to dock by following the table on page 15, or try the enclosed Dock Adapters until you find the one that fits tightly with your iPod.
