POWER UNIT INSTALLATION 1. Locate power unit within six feet (1.82 m) of a grounded electrical outlet. Broan VX3000C and VX6000C power WARNING units require a 120 V, dedicated 15-amp branch-circuit with a NEMA 5-15R receptacle or a dedicated 20-amp branch Do not install outdoors. -

The power unit has 4 intake GREEN connections, which 2 of them are factory sealed. GREEN 120 VOLTS CAUTION BLUE Broan VX3000C, VX6000C and VX12000C power BLUE THERMAL CONTROL PROTECTOR units will attach to the lower intake connections. BLACK BOARD See Fig. -

This appliance is for use on a standard 120 VAC, dedicated 15-amp branch circuit with a NEMA 5-15R receptacle or a dedicated 20-amp branch circuit with a NEMA 5-20R receptacle for Broan models VX3000C and VX6000C. For Broan model VX12000C, a dedicated nominal 240 VAC, individual 20-amp branch circuit with NEMA 6-20R receptacle is required. -

Open the door located on the front of the power unit. Reach inside the unit and remove both locking sleeves from the retaining hooks. Carefully pull filter down to remove. NOTE: Broan model VX12000C has two secondary filters. Ensure to remove both filters. B. F ILTER REINSTALLATION To reinstall the secondary filter, reverse the steps described above. -

• Replace hose as required. • 1) Push Reset button while unit is engaged OR • Microprocessor lockup. 2) Unplug unit completely for 60 seconds. NOTE:This applies only to Broan VX6000C and VX12000C. • Low line voltage. • Contact your local Service Center. -
