Cautions:
• The supplied DC adapter supplies
12 volts DC and has a center posi-
tive plug which properly fits the tele-
vision's
DC 12–14V
adapter that does not meet these
specifications could damage the
television or the adapter.
• Always unplug the DC adapter from
the cigarette-lighter socket before
you unplug it from the television.

CONNECTING ANTENNAS

Built-In Antenna

You can receive VHF and UHF broad-
cast signals by using the built-in tele-
scoping antenna, which usually provides
good reception for the TV and FM radio.
• Extend the antenna to its full length
for Channels 2–6 (VHF–LO).
• Extend the antenna to a shorter
length for Channels 7–13 (VHF–HI).
• For the best UHF reception, extend
the antenna to its full length for
Channels 14–69.

Outdoor Antenna

For improved reception, you can con-
nect an optional outdoor VHF/UHF an-
tenna to the television's

antenna. Do not attempt to remove
it yourself!
