Product highlights
Pulse Killer Chip
Electrical interferences are neutralised by a built in chip
called PKC
2 SCART connectors
2 SCART sockets allow you to connect to 2 devices at the
same time. One for the TV, and the other either to a
recording product (e.g. VCR or DVD recorder) for
recording of TV programs, or to a video playback device
(e.g. DVD player or Blu-ray player). Simply connect the
SCART sockets on the product to the SCART socket on
the desired devices, by a SCART cable. Video signals
would then pass through onto the other device for viewing
or recording.
Fast Zapp
Time it takes to go one channel up/down
Digital audio output
With a digital audio output, you can immerse yourself in
the program that you are watching and enjoy the
surround sound that is being broadcasted in the TV
program. Simply connect a cable from the connector for
digital audio output (this can be cinch or optical
connector, depending on availability on the product), and
the digital audio signals in the broadcasted program will
be output to the Dolby Digital certified home theater
system (or an audio amplifier) for processing into a 5.1
audio experience on the loudspeaker boxes.
Low power mode
Parental lock
Channels and installation menu can be locked by PIN
code
Free SCART cable
high quality SCART cable
MHP Enhanced
Additional content brought by broadcasters, governments
and other providers of consumer applications on a
standard platform
Access to Pay TV services
More and more top quality content are being
broadcasted these days, but the only way to access these
premium channels is to subscribe to the services from the
local Pay-TV operators. Insert the operator's smart card
into the set top box, and it will descramble the encrypted
signals that are being broadcasted by the Pay-TV
operators.
Automatic installation
New channels are quite often being added to the
broadcasting network during the digital switchover. To
ensure that you always have the access to all available
channels, it is important that the product is able to scan
and install new channels automatically. A very sensitive
tuner in the product is scanning through the broadcasting
network for new channels whenever the product is
switched off. Whenever a new service is detected, it will
be automatically updated and saved onto the channel list.
Euphoria User Interface
Easy navigation through the menu structure.
Electronic Program Guide 7d
You want to know what are the programs available today
and for the next 7 days, so that you can avoid missing
your favorite shows by planning your evenings or making
pre-scheduled recordings. The data is broadcasted by the
program broadcaster, and when this data is available,
this product compiles the information and list them in the
menu for your easy use reference. Simply enter the menu,
or press the EPG button on the remote control to access
the program guide. The EPG will provide you with an
overview, listing the program information for the
upcoming 7 days.
