Installing the hard disk
New hard disks are delivered with a shock absorber kit, which is either already attached to the hard
disk, or else you must attach it.
► If necessary, attach the shock absorber kit to the underside of the new hard disk.

Removing and installing components during servicing
► Plug the hard disk connector to the hard
disk (1).
► Carefully put the hard disk into the hard
disk compartment (2).
► Position the cover on its slot in the direction
of the arrow (1).
► Fasten the cover with the screws (2).
► Install the battery (see "Inserting battery").
► Turn the notebook over and place it on a
flat surface.
► Reconnect the cables that you
disconnected before.
