You’ll need to connect the base to both AC power and a modular telephone jack. You’ll connect the handset charger to AC power only.

When the memory is full, the oldest call information is deleted to make room for new incoming call information.

Connect the telephone line cord to the jack labeled TEL LINE on the back of the base. Connect the power cord to the jack labeled DC IN on the back of the base.

Even so, this handset and base can communicate over only a certain distance — which can vary with the locations of the base and handset, the weather, and the construction of your home or office.

Directory information is stored independently at the base and cordless handset. Changes made to entries at one location do not affect the other directory.
