Control Settings

Cycles
POTS & PANS/ For heavily soiled dishes or cookware with dried-on or baked-on soils.
HEAVY WASH Everyday dishes may be included. This cycle will not remove
NORMAL WASH For loads of everyday dishes, glasses and cookware with medium
SHORT WASH For quickly washing loads of everyday dishes with medium soils
LIGHT WASH/ For dishes with light soils.
WATER SAVER
RINSE & HOLD For rinsing partial loads that will be washed later.
PLATE WARMER For warming clean dishes and serving plates. This cycle will take

HI TEMP Provides extra heat for best performance. It is used best with
WASH ON/ heavily-soiled dishes.
HI TEMP WASH
HI TEMP Turns HI TEMP WASH off.
WASH OFF
HEATED DRY/ Turns the heating element on for fast drying. This option will extend
HEATED DRY ON the time of your wash cycle.
HEATED DRY OFF Turns HEATED DRY off. Dishes air dry naturally and energy
ENERGY SAVER Turns all options off.
Start
Slowly turn the Dial to the START or ON position, or the selected cycle.
Don't turn it past the START, ON or cycle position, or you could
accidentally miss a rinse. For models HDA2120 and HDA2130, when
using the POTS & PANS cycle, slowly turn the Dial to the NORMAL/POTS
& PANS position and press the POTS & PANS ON button. When using
the NORMAL cycle, slowly turn the Dial to the NORMAL/POTS & PANS
position and press the POTS & PANS OFF button. See About the Dial
Cycles section for other cycles on these models.
There is a time delay between start-up and water fill so you will not
hear any wash action right away.
