DacMagic Plus
Up to 24-bit content is now supported via both the USB Audio and Digital Inputs.
With Windows PCs the DacMagic Plus can operate driverlessly (i.e. use Windows own built-in driver)
at up to 24-bitj96kHz resolution.
In addition our own Windows driver (downloadable from www.cambridge-audio.comjDacMagicPius-
Support) allows up to 24-bitj192kHz operation and supports both kernel streaming and ASIO.
Mac PCs already support up to 24-bit/192kHz USB transfer natively.
A high quality headphone output allows personal listening and an optional digital preamp mode
allows the DacMagic Plus to be used directly into a power amp or active speakers if so desired.
Your DacMagic Plus can only be as good as the system it is connected to. Please do not compromise
on your amplifier, speakers or cabling. Naturally, we particularly recommend amplification from the
Cambridge Audio range. Your dealer can also supply excellent quality Cambridge Audio interconnects
to ensure your system realises its full potential.
Thank you for taking the time to read this manual; we recommend you keep it for future reference.
