Range extender location The best connection is established with a clear line of sight between the extender and the WiFi router and a clear line of sight between the extender and the WiFi device that you are using.

    N300 WiFi Range Extender WN2000RPT Connect the Extender with WPS to a WiFi Network The easiest way to connect the extender to a WiFi network is by using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). For this method to be successful, your WiFi router must support WPS.

    N300 WiFi Range Extender WN2000RPT Back Up the Configuration Settings When the extender works correctly after initial setup, NETGEAR recommends that you back up the extender configuration settings. After you have backed up the settings, if you have changed the extender configuration settings but are not content with the new settings, you can restore the extender configuration to the backed-up settings.
