To add a widget to the lock screen
From your Home screen, tap

Mark the Enable widgets checkbox.

Press the power key to lock the screen.

To activate the screen, briefly press the power key

Swipe inwards from the middle of the left side of the screen until

If required, enter your PIN code, pattern or password to unlock the screen.

Use shortcuts and folders to manage your applications and keep your Home screen

To add an application shortcut to your Home screen
Touch and hold an empty area on your Home screen until the device vibrates

and the customisation menu appears.
In the customisation menu, tap Apps.
