Auger Control Ignition Key The ignition key is a safety devise. It must be fully AUGER inserted in order for the engine to start. Remove the CONTROL ignition key when the snow thrower is not in use. Do not turn the ignition key in an attempt IMPORTANT: to start the engine.

Drive Control When the drive control is released and in the disengaged “up” position, the cable should have very little slack. It should NOT be tight. Check the adjustment of the drive control as follows: 1. With the drive control released, push the snow thrower gently forward.
