3.5.2 Progress bar

3.5.3 Recording storage

The
button is used to jump back for an instant replay on a
playback or time-shift. You can adjust the span of jump-back
as you desire by changing the Jumpback Amount option.
During a playback or time shift, pressing the
plays the progress bar which shows its rate of progress. With
the option Progress bar display you can set the progress bar to
hide in one of three ways:
Normal speed allows the progress bar to disappear in five
seconds, but only if on normal-speed playback. It does
not disappear on slow playback or fast playback until
after you resume normal-speed playback by pressing the
button again.
Every time allows the progress bar to always disappear in
five seconds.
Never hiding allows the progress bar to disappear only if
commanded. When you press the

EXIT
You can choose to record to the built-in hard disk drive or to an
external hard disk drive connected to a USB port on the digital
receiver. If you want to record a programme to the external
hard disk drive, you should set the Recording drive option to
External; otherwise set it to Internal.
NOTE
The external hard disk drive must be formatted by the digital
receiver before use. See §
If you want to preserve the empty space of the hard disk drive
to some extent at all times for scheduled recordings, set the
Reserved Space option to anything other than Disable. With

for detailed description.
