PREPARATIONS FOR USE
Fitting the handle
To fit the handle to the body of the appliance,
just push until the buttons click (fig. 1).
To remove, press the front and back buttons
with the fingers of one hand and at the same
time pull up with the other hand (fig. 2).
Insert the dust bag before turning the
cleaner on.
Description of tools
To make sure the tools are correctly attached
to the cleaner, press firmly.
Carpet/floor brush
Efficiently removes dust from floors (marble
or tiled), rugs or carpets.
When the "hard floors" pedal (
is pushed, the bristles protrude to clean hard
floors more efficiently. This position is
recommended for in-depth cleaning and
floors with pronounced joints.
"carpets" pedal (
) (fig. 4) is pushed, the
bristles retract and the brush is ready to clean
fabric surfaces or vacuum up coarse dirt (e.g.
large breadcrumbs) which would otherwise
be trapped in the bristles of the brush.
To reach under radiators or shallow furniture,
lower the brush by rotating it clockwise or
anticlockwise.
Crevice tool (fig. 5)
For cleaning corners, edges, etc.
Multipurpose nozzle (fig.6)
Ideal for cleaning sofas, armchairs, uphol-
stery, car interiors, blankets, mattresses, cur-
tains, etc.
Brush for cleaning delicate floors (fig. 7,
certain models only)
This special brush has soft natural horsehair
bristles and felt wheels which run over even
the most delicate floor (such as parquet)
without damaging it, leaving it perfectly clean
Extension tube (fig. 8, certain models only)
The extension tube is useful for cleaning
under low furniture or reaching high points.
Attach firmly to the suction port then fit the
required tool.
To clean under furniture, rotate the body of
the cleaner to the right or left and move for-
wards and backwards.
To clean high up points or the ceiling, you
should hold the cleaner with both hands (fig.
9).
TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON
Set the appliance up according to your clea-
ning requirements, then plug into a suitable
mains socket. Press the ON/OFF button E (fig.
10): the EPS indicator comes
Regulating suction power (fig. 11)
The appliance has a knob to control power
electronically.
Before turning the appliance on, turn the
regulator to minimum power.
