About the VTG 300/300R The Extron VTG 300 and the VTG 300R are portable, hand-held video and audio test generators. The VTG 300R features an integrated battery pack and charger, otherwise both models offer the same functions and features. “VTG” and “video test generator” refer to both the VTG 300 and the VTG 300R and are used interchangeably.
