1. Snap-in Spreader
2. 1/4-20 x 1-3/4" Carriage Bolt
3. 1/4" Washer
4. 1/4" Locknut
5. Hex Wrench
6. 1/2" self-tapping screw ( install in a place
convenient for you to store the splitter).
7. Receiver
1. Remove the guard and splitter unit that came with your
saw. Open the side cover of the saw and loosen the
screw that holds the guard-mounting rod. Remove the
guard.
2. Remove the jackscrew from the table saw casting.
Remove and discard the large locking nut and the 3/8"
stud (Fig. 1) from the jackscrew. You may need to use a
3/8-16 tap to clean the threads in the jackscrew.
3. Replace the modified jackscrew in the table saw casting.
4. Use the provided hex wrench to remove the plate (Fig. 2)
from the receiver.
