    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS PRODUCT MAY VARY SLIGHTLY FROM ILLUSTRATIONS Measuring scoop / Butter melter Upper cover Popcorn chute Popping reservoir On / Off switch This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet. CORD PLUG A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over a longer cord.

    Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: 1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and 2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
  • Page 6 MELTING BUTTER: Use the measuring scoop / butter melter to melt 3 tablespoons of butter to drizzle over the popped corn. Use softened butter or margarine only as refrigerator or hard butter will not melt during the popping process. The melted butter should be added to the popped corn in a separate bowl and NEVER while corn is still in the popping reservoir.

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Before cleaning, turn the switch to the OFF position, unplug from outlet and allow to cool. Hand wash the cover and measuring scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
