Attraction. For optimum tire grip and crisp steering feedback,
the rear wheels are 1" wider than the fronts. Choose from four
5-spoke designs: standard 18" or optional 19" wheels, and 18"
or 19" AMG wheels in either of two optional Wheel Packages.
Enhanced shifting. The versatile 7- speed automatic transmission
has been reengineered for smoother, more efficient performance.
An electronic selector and paddle shifters allow complete control of
gear changes without taking a hand from the 3-spoke steering wheel.
Advanced steering. New electromechanical power steering delivers
quicker response in corners, easier maneuvering at low speeds, along
with precise on-center feel and straight-line stability. The system also

contributes to the improved fuel efficiency of every 2012 CLS-Class.
