Logging Into the WG602v4

The NETGEAR WG602v4 54 Mbps Wireless Access Point can be configured remotely from
Microsoft Internet Explorer browser version 5.0 or above, or Netscape Navigator Web browser
version 4.78 or above, or Mozilla Firefox. You can log in to the WG602v4 in these two ways:
Using the IP Address of the WG602v4 (if DHCP client is disabled) or with a reserved IP
address assigned by your router (if DHCP client is enabled). Either one of these methods is the
most reliable.
Using the NetBIOS name of the WG602v4, which is not as reliable as using an IP Address.

IP Address Login

The default IP address of your wireless access point is 192.168.0.227. However, if you have
disabled DHCP client (fixed or static IP address), you can change the IP Address and IP Subnet
Mask of your wireless access point.
Note: If you are using the default IP subnet, the computer you are using to connect to the
WG602v4 should be configured with an IP address that starts with 192.168.0.x and
a Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0; if you have changed the subnet of the wireless
access point, the computer your are using to connect must be within the same
subnet.
To connect to the WG602v4 using a fixed, static or reserved IP address:
1. Open a Web browser.
2. Enter the IP Address of WG602v4 into your browser (the default IP address is
http://192.168.0.227).
