8 Get started
The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by
scratches or bending, so be careful when handling,
inserting, or removing the card.
1 Slide the back cover downwards, and remove it (1).
2 Remove the battery (2).
3 Insert the SIM card. Ensure the contact surface area is
facing down and the bevelled corner of the SIM card is
facing the bottom of the device (3, 4, 5).
4 Replace the battery and the back cover (6, 7).

Insert a microSD card

Use only compatible microSD cards approved by Nokia for
use with this device. Nokia uses approved industry
standards for memory cards, but some brands may not be
fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may
