Why will the handheld not run?
• The battery may not be charged – plug the charger into the unit and into the mains
• The unit may have been in the "on" when charged - move the power switch to the 'off' position and charge again
• Note: The solid light shows the unit is charging. The light will flash when the unit is charged.

Why won't the handheld pick up?
• The nozzle or tools may be blocked - remove the dirt container and/or tool and check for obstructions.
• The filter may be clogged or dirty - clean the filter. Refer to the Maintenance section for details
• The dirt container is full - empty the container.
• The battery charge is getting weak – place the unit in the "off" position and charge.

Why won't the battery recharge?
• The charger may not be inserted correctly – remove and reinsert.
• The unit may have been in the "on" position - move the power switch to the 'off' position and charge again.
• No power maybe supplied to the unit - check the mains electrical outlet is switched on and working.
