Supplying Power The VoFX, is designed to “Plug in and Go”, so connect the included power supply and the VofX will power up and be ready to serve. It is always a good ideas to follow some electrical safety standards, we have listed them below to keep things running smooth.
) PROGRAM AND BANK SELECTOR FOOTSWITCHES- These footswitches give you access to the User Programs in the VoFX and allow you to change User Banks. 2) EFFECT GROUPS - The VoFX's effects are divided into 13 groups and labeled on the front panel.
6) HIGH IMPEDANCE RIGHT OUT - This output jack is used for the insertion of a High impedance 1/4 cord. 7) AC POWER INPUT - Connect the supplied AC power adapter to this jack. Use only the adapter supplied with the VoFX. Use of any other adapter may damage the unit.
Bank selector, and the remaining three are Program selectors. A Bank is a group of three Programs. There are 10 User Banks in the VoFX, each with 3 Programs for a total of 30 User Programs. There are also 30 Factory Programs that can be selected using the Data wheel only.
• by turning the Data wheel in Performance mode. To select Programs using the footswitches: 1) After you power up, the VoFX defaults to Performance mode. Select a Bank by pressing the Bank selector footswitch. The display shows the selected bank number on the left side of the display and a dash on the right.
Store LED lights. That's it! You can manipulate any effect setting in the VoFX by pressing the associated Effect selector button on the front panel and turning the Data wheel.
User Program section. Grouping Programs If you have Programs that you like and would like to keep them together in the same Bank, the VoFX will allow you to store any program in any bank To perform this function, simply move to the desired program, either using the Data Wheel or the Footswitches, and then press the <Store>...
EQUALIZERS The 2-band Equalizer in the VoFX offers LOW Eq (1K Hz) and HIGH eq (3K Hz) frequencies. Both of the EQs are adjustable in 2db increments. These can be adjusted from -12dB cut, to 12dB boost. CHORUS A chorus works by splitting the input signal into 2 paths.
The Tremolo modulates the level of the signal. This effect was offered in the vintage amplifiers of yesterday, but now it has become more popular than ever. The VOFX offers 9 tremolo speeds ranging from 2.0Hz - 9.0Hz RING MODULATOR The Ring Modulator produces mathematically related sounds rather than harmonically related sounds.
NOISE GATE The VoFX offers noise gating capabilities. The Noise gate is simple to use and the settings are as follows: Noise Gates 1-7 offer gating with a stronger threshold the high the gate number. Noise gates 7-10, have a gate swell.
KARAOKE There is no need to hire a whole band anymore with VoFX Karaoke function. The VoFX offers you the unique ability to remove unwanted vocals in recordings and then play the rest of the music back through the unit on most CDs and Tapes.
