WHEN PLAYING BLU-RAY
Your Sceptre will only auto detect one type of 3D effect which is frame packing. If this
effect is present in the Blu-ray DVD then y it will automatically revert to the 3D mode.
However if the movie is using side by side or top and bottom then you will need to
manually switch the 3D mode to get the desired 3 D effect. Please consult your
PICTURE > 3D SETTINGS menu for the option or you can use the RED A hotkey to
immediately call up the options to change them.
Certain 3D movies use the left image as the main image instead of the right. With the
wrong main image your 3D effects will not be as pronounced or smooth. Please consult
your PICTURE > 3D SETTINGS menu for the option or you can use the YELLOW C
hotkey to change the L R SWAP option.
OTHER OPTIONS
Because 3D content is scarce, this TV is capable of producing 3D effects out of 2D
videos. Please consult your PICTURE > 3D SETTINGS menu for the option or you can
use the GREEN B hotkey to change the 2D to 3D option. You can change the DEPTH
option to increase the 3D effect, however the higher the value, the farther you have to
sit away to enjoy the effect.
Please note:
3D effects produced by the 2D to 3D option will not be as pronounced as
dedicated 3D content produced by dedicated 3D Blu-ray movies or 3D TV
channels.
3D to 2D
When you purchase Blu-ray DVDs that are dedicated to 3D, all images will be in a 3D
format. If you do not want to watch the movie in 3D, you can use the 3D to 2D option to
convert the movie into a 2D format. Please remember to select the correct 3D effects
method to convert or the video will not convert correctly. Please consult your PICTURE
> 3D SETTINGS menu for the option.
