Upgrading the Configuration File

The wireless controller provides two methods for upgrading its firmware:
Scheduled, automatic update

Manual update
•
There are two boot partitions to allow you to switch the wireless controller from one firmware
version to another.
To upgrade the firmware:
Go to the NETGEAR support page for the WC7520 wireless controller at

If you intend use a local file for the upgrade, download the firmware from the NETGEAR

support page for the WC7520 wireless controller and save it to your computer.
Select Maintenance > Upgrade. The Firmware Upgrade screen displays.
