Something Not Working

If your appliance is not operating correctly, carry out the following checks before contacting your local Service
Force Centre.
Important: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below, or to repair a fault caused by incorrect use or ins-
tallation a charge will be made, even if the appliance is under guarantee.
Symptom
Interior Light (refrigerator)
does not work
The appliance does not cool
down sufficiently
Food is freezing in the fridge • The temperature control knob
The motor works
continuously.
Water/condensation in the
vegetable drawer
Condensation on the
outside of the cabinet
Doors do not close
Noises
All product lights start
flashing and the alarm sounds
Cause
• Appliance is not plugged in
• The appliance is not switched on
• There is no power to the appliance
• The bulb is not fitted correctly or
has fused.
• The doors have not been closed
properly
• A door has been opened frequently
• The temperature control knob is
not set correctly
• Food has been introduced into the
appliance
is incorrectly set
• Food is too close to ventilation
holes at the back
• Temperature control knob is
incorrectly set
• The doors are not properly closed
• Doors have been opened frequently
• Food has recently been introduced
into the appliance
• The condenser is dirty
• Wet vegetables have been put
into the box
• High humidity level in the room.
• The appliance is not level
• The doors are incorrectly aligned
• Food is preventing the doors

• Your product has a major fault
Solution
• Plug in the appliance
• Switch on the appliance
• Check the main fuse box in the
house
• Refit the bulb or replace with a
new bulb
• Close the doors
• Avoid frequent opening of the
doors
• Reset as required
• The appliance will cool down in
due course.

• Reposition food, leaving a gap.
• Change the setting
• Close the doors
• Avoid frequent opening of the doors

• Clean (read the Maintenance &
Cleaning section).
