A problem in the fuel, compression, or ignition systems can cause poor starting, loss of power, or other problems. The troubleshooting chart describes basic checks and possi- ble remedies. 1. Be sure your new Yamaha is registered for warranty. Your boat dealer should do this at the time of sale. Make sure your dealer gives you a copy of the completed Yamaha regis- tration card for your records.
